First groom : I reccomend bringing your dog in for a bath, tidy up, nail trim before a full groom, if time allows! Reasoning is, it’s a lot for a puppy to process. I like to take my time with first grooms, just so they don’t dislike getting groomed, or me! They are stuck with getting hair cuts for the rest of their life, it’s always good to take things slow!
